The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and Research, Development and Innovation Agency (FOERDIA) of the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry extended their collaborative relationship by signing a new Memorandum of Understanding on 26 February 2019 at the CIFOR campus in Bogor, Indonesia. The event titled "A new paradigm for forest research and development on the world stage" included a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the International Tropical Peatlands Center (ITPC) and a brown bag discussion on social forestry and tenure in Indonesia.
