All over the world, REDD+ countries are struggling with the design and implementation of coherent policies and measures to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation. To bring evidence on which factors and configurations are crucial to make progress will be helpful for decision makers and practitioners at all levels involved in REDD+. This knowledge sharing brought together experts from 7 countries to showcased REDD+ progress in their respective country, highlighting specific issues. For example: What works and what did not. Explore why and under what conditions that make it different and what is necessary to make it work (and sustainable). Lastly, we made reflections on the national experience from the global perspective.
