How do I trust the quality of FTA data?

FTA featured datasets are peer-reviewed in accordance with CGIAR’s QoR4D quality of science framework. For more information, click here.

How do I cite FTA data?

All FTA data must be cited correctly. Each dataset page includes a full citation, and each data file is also accompanied by the citation to be used.

What is a data story?

A data story is a short, one-page summary of how FTA data has been used. By completing our ‘Tell us your data story’ form, a data story will be generated and sent to you for approval. Once approved, we will publish the data story on our website. You are also welcome to share the data story with your networks.

We hope that by providing data stories, we will be able to showcase your research, the value of FTA data, and the importance of Open Data for knowledge generation and dissemination.

I have published research based on FTA data, should I let you know?

Yes! We would love to hear from you. Feel free to contact us directly via email, or submit a data story form.
